It's called a cycle cylinder boremaster.Manufactured by precision manufacturing co clearwater FLA.They closed shop in mid 80's.But the machine is first rate.It is used to bore All small cylinder,snowmobile atv dirtbike harley

I 'd bet that's it , thanks, that it's for a motorcycle, his dad had a few bikes
I tried again a search this am but didn't find that.

I knew it had something to do with, locating or measuring on uneven surfaces...kept looking at archaeology, and finally thought medical, 3 clicks later ......
