Wheels came back from the sandblaster. Hopefully they will get powder coated this week. Waiting on the powder to get here. Also got my new tires in.

Continued working on the firewall/floors. Got this far with it. Feel like Im getting closer to putting floors in. Still need my seats to figure out where everything is going to be. Sat my original seat in for now and everything feels like it's in the right spot. Lol.

Another view. Trying to position the Lokar shifter. Don't really want to do much with it until I get the seats into position.

No real progress. Been busy with school. Hopefully the wheels will be ready tomorrow from powder coating. Hopefully I'll get some done this weekend. I did however fire up my Packard and let it run. Decided to snap some pics while I was at it.

Really wanted wide whites but being a broke teacher those will have to wait. So these will work for now. Hopefully put these on today!

Borrowed an offroad jack from a buddy to see if I could get the rear of the truck up high enough to swap out the wheels. It worked perfectly. Now I can plan on putting an access panel when I do my floors so that I could change a tire if j ever get a flat. Only issue is that I had to pull on the wheel arches to get enough space to get the wheels in. Don't want to have to do that. Considering going with CaptainFabs Impala disc set up which I think would give me more clearance.

If I get the rear bumper up almost 2' I have plenty of room to swap tires. Because I'm so low, I have to disconnect the bags and the shocks enough to get the axle to swing down far enough. Just glad I have a plan if that day ever comes out on the road.

And the rear tuckin hard. Now you can see why I needed the offroad jack. And the truck still is an 1" off the ground.

Re: Free Candy Inside: 63 Long Panel Build
The Panel is looking good Free Candy. Some of your interference issues is likely from cutting your rockers. That also lowered your wheel arch. When you replace the arches raising them might solve your problem

Re: Free Candy Inside: 63 Long Panel Build
I'm loving this truck!! Have you thought about buffing the sidewalls on your tires and making them wide white walls? Iv done a few sets that turned out ok, I also had a guy I mounted a set for that had the side wall cut on a lathe those where really nice...just a thought.

Well not much progress. Had a hard time finding a full set of Honda Element seats that I want to run. They fold down and make a bed so the vehicle becomes kind of a camper. I attempted to get more done but kept running into the issue of not knowing where everything would end up depending on the seats. I finally picked up 4 seats today and roughly put them in place. So far I think they will work well. Note the rear seats have built in cup holders and mount to the side of the truck. They also can fold up against the side for storage purposes.

Pic of the drivers seat. It actually is about the same dimensions of a factory single panel truck seat.

Re: Free Candy Inside: 63 Long Panel Build
