MSD billet dis. and a digital 6 box. going to convert to e-85 in a month. it has an NX system with edlebrock controller. I have the 250 pills but spraying 75%. So there is still a lot left in the truck especially when we change to e-85. The trans is my stage 3 700r4 trans. I will post a video and pics of the truck and the 6.42 pass some one video at my last race. the truck should run 6:15 when we get it dialed in with the 250 shot and hoping for high 5's when we convert to e-85. Were also running a 10 point cage mild steel. Oh and the truck is pearl white with a spare tire on the side and yes I'm(to the younger croud) an old man

i have personally seen this truck in action it has a big t on the spare tire cover and its awesome, he drives it to the track and runs mid to low 6's. very nice truck... hmmm i need one of your 700r's, my 350 is slipping in high gear, you might remeber my truck we were at brainerd a few weeks ago about the same time on friday test and tune, next time your there give me a hollar, love to check out your truck.

I'll be at the Johnny Walker race on the 8th. I may also be there on the 3rd. Brainered changed their test & tune to Sundays. I will just be back from PRI late Saturday night. I teach auto mechanics and I have an engine building team that is competing at PRI. We just got back from Vegas SEMA show they got 3rd in the nation. Hope they can win this one.
Sorry guys I'm like a proud popa when it comes to my kids at school. Ok now for the trans just pm me & I'll pm you my phone #.

a little better
8.08 1/8
1.84 60 ft
dropped probably 100 pounds off the truck with much cooler weather the last pass ended up wheel hopping nasty for at least 30 feet, ran 8.14, with a 1.97 60 that could of been a 7.9x pass but that much wheel hop was pretty scary, sure thought the 12 bolt was going to go boom, or the 1350 u joints were going to break

Made some improvements in the 60' from my last time out. put some landry 250lb 18" springs, and some competition engineering 90/10 shock on the front. rear still needs to be redone but $$$ is tight. http://youtu.be/qVSdGFHc1zU

Re: post latest 1/4 and 1/8 mile times and 60ft.

Took the truck to the last day open of the track here. This is my first time ever on a track. Always been a spectator, finally got to do the 1/4! MT Sportsman S/R's 30x12x15, launch from idle.

R/T .389
60' 1.726
330' 4.951
1/8 7.661 @ 90.6
1000' 10.002
1/4 12.044 @110.91

I could definately feel that the engine was not getting enough fuel at the top of second gear. I am going to check my tank venting, and full fuel system setup for what may be causing this... Other than that, what a fricken blast!!!! Can't wait for slicks, shocks, and next season!!!!!

Friday night testing last month...

...well, it has a dump truck rear wing. Third quickest pass overall for a traditional Pontiac powered drag car, and quickest for a factory OE block.

Thanks, Marv! Yep, my helmet chin strap was holding on for dear life. My previous couple of passes we were at 1.01 60-foot, so it was nice to finally dip below 1.0.
