Just found a c notch for $117 it on the way.:two: It's just a small notch. ;)Not that I did'nt want the monster. :sumo: Now all I have to do is figure out springs or bags. The bags in the front just fit right in no special plates or anything? Why are the spindles from ccp so much cheaper?

Too: In addition:also:to such a degree as to be regrettable. I Learn somthing every day. :metal: One thing about this place it helps my spelling and grammar. Now if I could only learn somthing that would help me get my truck done. ;) Did you get the other side of your truck done or just pull weeds all day?

Re: Daverods project 66

That notch was done 6 years ago when I had my shop Sportruck Specialties. I used to show customers that picture to show them the difference. And how I was going to butcher up there frame. :haha:
My weeds are already picked. When I pick um, they stay picked if they know what's good for them.

Got sick of sanding. I had an extra cross member laying around thought I would make a drop. It cut out easier than I thought. I think putting it back together is going to be the trick. A couple of tack welds and some of that good Rage filler should do the trick.

It's going to be interesting to see how you will attach it to the frame. Where did you get the idea from?

I never really got that far in my thought process. Wouldnt you just drill new holes 1 1/2" higher then the old holes. It lookes you would have to fill in the big holes? What are the big holes for?

Re: Daverods project 66

Thanks. Looks like a good idea to get it to drop down that extra 1 1/2". With bags it would give you that extra clearance too.
