Re: 1969 GMC Short Fleet Build
Well.....I just got the truck out of the AC shop, "Roger Lewis Makeovers". This guy was recommended by Vintage air as one of their best Installer Associates. Roger has been installing Vintage Air systems since 1979. He does
about 8 cars a month out of his shop in Pearland, Texas, Just outside of Houston. He usually has a waiting list. I first talked to him back in March. He called me just as I was getting the truck out of the paint shop. So..I got the the doors and windows back together(thank god that issue is done) and I took him the truck last week. Got it back friday. I now have Cold AC, Just in time, this weekend the weather hit 95 deg. and 94 % humidity, heat index of 104 deg. Hot!!!! Roger always has some interesting cars in his shop, He had a 66 Mustang convertible, a beautiful 1957 Chevy Nomad SW, a 1938 Dodge 5 window coupe, and a 1950 Ford Custom Convertible. He has done over a hundred Chevy/GMC trucks!! I will post pics soon.;);) Dale |

That turned out real nice Dale!
Is that the original gauge cluster in the truck now? New or original bezel? ;) (Just curious...) |

Got around to installing the Hushmat in the floor and Firewall of the cab. I also took some pics on how to setup for working on the truck in Houston summers (which are Brutally hot), notice the canopy, electric fans etc.;);)

Re: 1969 GMC Short Fleet Build
dude your garage is sweet. I am totally jealous. I keep telling my wife I need to put cabinets in the garage but she says only if she gets the new ones for the kitchen and I use the old ones for the garage.
