The cover plates i made for the PB hinges are aluminium as for the rims i am planning on painting the black section blue (same color as the truck) and the silver lip will be white i think it will give a cool different look we will see keep you guys posted hope to strip and paint in the rims in the next month!!

Re: started working on the 65 suburban

Looks great ---- been following your build for a while. Started my '66 a little over a year ago. Body on rotisierre and frame powder coated. I'm building frame up now with tubular upper and lower control arms, dropped spindles, 3"/4" dropped coils and 4 whl discs.
I would also like to get a set of Custom trim if anybody knows of any or has a set to sell or trade. I've got lots of parts and a couple of extra Suburbs.

Yep, on the trim --- I've seen some go for big prices but I'll wait for reasonable price or trade some parts if possible..........

Neat build man.. Far from what I'm doing with mine. But-that's what "extreme" and "stock" is different for..
Keep up the good work.

Thanks I think they look slick and I think it makes the install easier because the holes and the slot don't have to be exact!
