here are the power vent window motors from a early 60's GM car. I think I can make these work with the a-1 electric power window kit. should be pretty neat. If I can get them to work I will get a set of 68-72 vent window frames restored and put a 67 glass in it so it doesn't have a lock. the motors will act as a lock.0

power vent windows complete on the driver side at least. Here are some pictures of how I made this work. they work perfectly too. I am happy with how this turned out. I will post a video of it working as well I just need to figure out how to do it.

one more. The door latch on the inside of the door just clears so opening and closing the door is not affected either.

Nice work, looking forward to seeing the video.

I am thinking about adding a clock but not in the cluster. Tell me what you guys think about this. I want to take a 65 clock (because it has the same color lettering as the trucks gauges) and work it into the center of the dash pad kind of facing the driver . like in the pic below . What do you guys think?

Re: 67 GMC super custom build
Not a bad idea, i would have no idea how to do that myself, Fiberglass?

well I ordered a power brake pedal from a member on the board but really wanted to keep my chrome around the pedal. decided this is what I was going to do and here is the final result. its not 100% perfect but down there it will look good I think.

got my new vent windows from Roger Koop today with no latches. They should work nicely with the power vent windows. also got my a-1 electric power window kit. Now I can start wiring it all together in the doors.

Re: 67 GMC super custom build

I kind of like this mounted just like it is on top of the dash pad. What do you guys think? would you paint it black or the color of the dash pad? Or not do it at all? Looking for opinions. Molding it into the pad will be way too much work so I decided to rule that out.

This morning I converted the dash top clock to quartz. I would have liked to leave it mechanical but it didn't work anymore and quartz lasts so much longer. very easy to do with the kit.

I repainted the body and replaced all the old stiff wires with new stuff. Polished out the lens and chrome ring best I could. should look sweet all put back together. Still not 100% sure I am going to use this but if I don't, now that it works correctly and in nicely refinished, I probably wouldn't have a hard time finding someone who could use it in their 66 truck.
