Thanks. Just used a micro fiber wax applicator and some jax wax purple metal polish and some metal gloss. Started with the purple for the cutting ability then finished it off with the gloss. Rubbed on it and wiped off that's what I got. It's shines more out in the sun that's a pic in the garage. But for 5 min worth of work not bad.

Tomorrow going to do the other side with Meg's heavy cut polish and finishing polish and see which one turns out the best.

Well it has taken me a week to get my truck to be truly square. I am a perfectionist. I can't leave well enough alone. My buddy said I was crazy that he couldn't see it but I could and new I had to fix it. So got it level left to right front to back. Measures the same all the way around.

Everything looks great, what's your ride height from the frame to the ground?

No problem. Curious why you asked now lol. My long tubes on the other hand have to go now bs. They only have around 2.5" ground clearance lol.

Well im trying to decide if I want to go with the Porterbuilt coilover kit or not, The extreme version gives a ride height of 5" with a 28" tall tire which is roughly what you have currently on your 22s. So I have a pretty good idea on how low the truck would sit with the 28" tall tire!

And yes, when you start going any less than 4-5" drop those long tube headers get mighty close!

Porter makes really nice stuff. But I am happy with the way I decided to do it. When I looked at price and all that fun stuff to get what I got didn't cost anything what getting the Porter would cost me. I am still waiting on my Porter upper and LCA. I am so happy I went with the 1" narrow and 1" forward. Should give me the option to possibly go 1" lower in the front if I decide. Noe if Nate would just ship them I will now if moving them in a 1" and forward a 1" is worth it. Haha. No matter what I needed to move them in a 1" cause of how low it is sitting now

Those control arms are nice and moving forward will make a difference, the only reason for PB coilovers is simply handling and updated steering. Otherwise the way you did it is the perfect route.

To be honest the biggest difference I have felt is when I went from twin tube to monotube. That is when I noticed and felt and could tell the diffrence in handling. Monotube shocks made a night and day diffrence.

Yes they do. Ok I have seen that truck before that's a nice truck. I can go 1" lower in the rear but I have got to c notch it I need to notch it now but been busy last couple of months. Right now I am at 6.5/8. But if I notch it I could be 6.5/9. Or lol. Maybe 7.5/9 with the Porter arms. We shall see. I like how it sits now. But I am the type of person: well let's see if we can and see what it looks like if we do. Never know until you try. I just need to get the control arms from Porter so I can see the bottom of them in real life and see what I can do.

Better to try and know than to not try and always be wondering what if! Keep up the good work, it looks really good.

Youre running a coil with them correct? Cant wait to see them in and the wheels moved forward with being a static drop.
