I love the stance... what size wheel and tire are you running. I have a 60 that is going down 5.5 in front and 5 in back. Im looking to run 17x8s if possible without rubbing in the front.

15x8, 235/75/15, I almost went with a bigger wheel. The rear is a non issue, my front may be an issue. Haven't been able to drive it around enough to tell yet but it's pretty close o the fender.

Anyone else have driveshaft/pinion angle issues after adding 2 inch lowering blocks? The PO had already cut the springs, but it rode fine. Added the blocks over the weekend and the thing vibrates like hell now.

Kind of all around. Most noticeably in 3rd. I have a 4 speed with granny low, so i start in second, which is a bit rougher feeling, but 3rd is awful. 4th isnt too bad, but still not like it use to be. When I let off in 4th going around 35 or so, it sounds like something is rubbing. Been under and checked, no ssigns of either driveshaft rubbing on anything.....

It looks like on of those exaggerated drawings with the big wheels that you see on t-shirts. Not Ed Roth but the newer style.

I confused is that second photo with the 5/7 drop already done or is that photoshoped? If that is a 5/7 drop I hope you do not have any pot holes or speed bumps in your town. It must be photoshop because you have no frame rail behind your back tire only grass. That looks lower than 5/7.

I've got a stock set of front springs and a set of jeep tj springs for the rear. How many coils do I need to cut off the stock fronts to make my truck sit level with jeep springs in the rear?

Forest, that's a photoshopped pic. I know I won't be sitting that low but just got everything ordered from Sid so I'm excited. She should be done in about a month.

Apologies for posting on here, just realized it wasn't for 59's but it's a great forum!

Anyone have a pic of a 2-3 drop? Got a set of 3" rear springs coming, and thinking about ordering some 2" for the front.

The TJ Jeep rear springs brought mine down a full 4" in the rear and I cut 2 coils off of stock fronts

I cut 1 1/2 off of the front of mine with the tj springs in the rear. it still has a little rake but I had to cut the bump stops off the front or they would hit. The front still has good suspension but the back has almost none. I can't put anything in the back without it bottoming out. My bike makes the truck totally bottom out and that was one of the main reasons I lowered it. I have some load leveling bags that I plan to install but I'd "splurge" and buy the real lowering springs for the rear if I had it to do over again.

I really like your interior, is that a tilt column or do you have to bend your head down to see the tach? It's almost like you could glance at the speedometer and co-witness the tach at the same time, I like it.

You should get some gauges that match the tach to replace the dummy lights, that would be perfect, plus it'd get rid of the add on gauges below the radio and clean everything up.

Love the stance of your truck too.

thanks for the comments. it is the factory non tilt steering column. i have no issues seeing the tach sitting normal (i am 6'0"). i am saving for the Fastlane west dash to eliminate the under dash gauges the PO installed. as for the stance i am debating on bags or staying static.

I hate to bug you but I have to ask what you think about the rear tank conversion - given you are on the road with a similar drop to what I've got on my truck ( 5 1/2 front - 6 rear).

I just finished mocking it up on my 62 C10 and would like to know more before I proceed with eliminating tank in cab.

9 1/2 inches to the ground with body off seems close - likely clearance issues for actual drivability.

Thank you - rg
