Yes it does! You have made some really nice upgrades to this bad boy. Kinda makes me think that maybe I should have snapped it up for myself.....

The wheels are great on there, I am actually looking at the Bonneville-G for my 71 project.

I thought about those, but didn't think I would like them in a couple of years. Sooooooo, I went the "safe" route, :D.

You wouldn't want this ole piece of junk, :D.

Here's a couple pictures with the center caps on at our local Saturday night car show. PCMCobra allowed me to park next to him so I wouldn't feel so alone,. There was a nice LS1 67 step there also.

Don't worry, I have another set of tires to play with, ;).

I finally got the front covers fittted, painted and mounted. I really like the way the clean the front grill area up. I need to get my rubber floor mat installed and then I'll be done with the "cosmetics".......:D.

He was having problems making the notch work on the panel, so I went ahead and modifyed my core support. It took about 30 mins.

Will that cover take away from any fresh air getting into the engine bay though? Now all the air has to come through the radiator, right?

That's a good thing right?

**

I finally pulled the old rubber floor mat so I can start installing the new one. I was pleasantly suprised when I didn't find any rust other than in the drivers kick panel and that was minimal. I was going to put in some factory tar insulation that I purchased from the board, but I decided to go with FatMat instead. It will be good practice for when I do the Burb, :D.

Those covers came out really nice! Do you notice a big difference as far as cooling? If it's significant I might have to do something like that. Also where did you get that cover on your radiator? Thanks for any info!

Nice looking covers. I wish you had posted your pics 2 weeks ago. I could have modified my core support while I had it out on saw horses. Now I got to do it the hard way like you. Really does clean it up nice though.

I haven't driven it enough to know that yet. The radiator cover came from a boardmember. A link to his website is a few pages back.

I've got 7 of them. I would probably sell the three extras if you are intersted.

:). I'm trying to finish up a few last details prior to hitting the Power Tour in Birmingham. I'm redoing my fuel system (Aeromotive components), replacing the rubber floormat and I picked these radiator covers up from Northwest Autofab. They look cool and I'm pretty sure they will help keep the engine cooler while moving by forcing more air through the radiator.

http://www.nwautofab.com/shop/xcart/...6&cat=3&page=1

Got my fatmat in. So after I weld up a few holes, I'm going install it and put everything back togather. :metal:

Re: 68 S/C update.....

I looked at my core support last night. I'd have to move all my ac stuff, dryer, and condenser and brackets down out of the way for those covers to work. Hmmm, it makes it look so clean tho, might be worth it. Damn, more work. Are those covers a 2 piece or 1 piece thing. Truck looks great again. Short bed show twin of mine.
