Re: Maggie's Custom
Nice job on the grille. I would vote to leave it as-is too, but I think it would need/be better with a nicely patina'd white bumper. Sounds like your set on chrome though, which will no doubt be nice as well.

Re: Maggie's Custom
That grille looks great!! Not too many mods look good done to the stock grille

Re: Maggie's Custom
I could go either way with the chromed or not grill frame.
The Chevrolet emblem though, I most certainly would not chrome. I would either leave it in a state of patina, or it would get some form of tie-in paint; depending upon the plans for the rest of the truck. Either way, looks like you are on the road to a Win-Win !! Great work, and I was wondering when she was going to be in a photo again  |

Re: Maggie's Custom
that engine looks great!!!! Maggie is gonna be rolling one sick truck!!! i know u been super busy lately but have u messed with the nova at all?
|
Re: Maggie's Custom
Yes!! I pulled the motor, and got a crazy good deal on having it built. Going with LS3 heads, bigger cam, and all forged internals. The plan is once the truck is running and driving to get back on the Nova. I too have a few things I want to redo, and paint the front sub frame is one of them.

Good day....I believe Jason is using a stock 4 barrel intake to keep the breather. But if I remember correctly, Dino and others are using the aftermarket Edlebrock unit...They are making a performer intake with that breather/fill tube hole already in it for the older style engines... :) |
