Yep, figured that. Bring it all back home. let that shot in the foot heal itself and we can stand on our own two feet again.

I tell you, when it comes to farm raised eatin', we're in sad shape when it isn't from down the road a piece... if not your own place. I'm happy to say I can fill my meat orders, since I don't raise my own, right in town and it's all raised local. Our locker plant in town is now in the hands of the next generation and they are busy as can be, open m-f normal business hours, Wed is butchering day, and open Sat 8-1. I steer clear off Saturdays. Biz-ee! Us dollars being made off local products. It's just so right!

Bought these Dayco 3/4" & 5/8" heater hoses from Summit. The price was great, and they're made in USA. The walls are slightly thicker and stiffer than the Mexico-made Gates hose I replaced.

Kansas raised bison. Five miles just west of town.
I buy elk from a guy that raises them 25 miles away but, he comes to the Ottawa farmers market.

I am literally surrounded by grass fed cattle. But you can't buy any of the beef around here. They can get more money shipping them out. No tengo tiempo para ti.

Local raised meats are one privilege of country livin'. I've talked about our locker plant/meat market before. Those in the know know that Wed. is the day to buy. By the weekend much is low on stock or gone.

I also talked about or plumbing supply house, The Plumbery. Both businesses are multi-generation family run. I scored a small victory for USA with a shut-off valve and o-rings. They had o-rings in every diameter and thickness. Saved me from replacing my polished brass faucet in a market where polished brass is considered passe/non-obtainium. It's not the current trend, you see. Well, historic homes have nothing to do with that!

I have some of their USA items. They offer some great stuff. I ate an organic yellow squash last evening. It was wrapped up and labeled "Grown in the USA". Isn't that incredible?

Born and raised on my ranch in Dakota. Will be going to a locker in three weeks to get butchered. The town the locker is in has a population of 600 people. I have to make an appointment a year in advance, that’s how busy and good they are. Picture is probably sideways.

I installed some vinyl in a bathroom today. Most of the vinyl I install is made in the USA. Once in a while I’ll lay some vinyl that’s made in Canada. They make a good vinyl up north too.
I need to look at the glue to see where it’s made.

I was looking for a good pair of shop shoes , I'll tear up a pair of sneakers in a month and wearing boots doing body work doesn't work for me , I used to buy leather work shoes from Sears and they lasted a long time and the older they got the better they felt . Well no more Sears and no more work shoes . All I was finding were cheaply made expensive shoes from overseas . Then I found these Golden Fox work shoes On Amazon , Made in the USA On sale $78.00 . They arrived yesterday , They fit great and Mrs Grumpy saw them and said
"Those are way to nice to ruin them working on your truck " So now what ? :smoke: Back on the hunt for the old style Sears work shoes ...To work in

Reading the comments in the video I see that Golden Fox has two lines of footwear, one made in the States and one made in China. You have to make sure you are buying the "Heritage" line of shoes made in the US. Some of the commenters were bragging that they got their Golden Fox boots on eBay and only had to pay $39.00 on sale.... then complained that they started coming apart after 6 months. You know which line they bought don't you.... :) ... Or worse yet, got cheap eBay knockoffs.... :(

Man, those look com-fort-a-ble. I don't know about that color for in an automotive shop, but for my carpentry they'd be great. I have worn the Redwing Irish Setter Oxfords before and presently have a pair of those in 6" boot. But I'm ready for something this warm season and I'm going to check into these

running a pro-flo 1 makes it hard to find replacement parts, or the parts are chineseum and last 36 seconds.
didn't want no offshore junk in my crewcab, so spent a couple hrs searching for a new MAP sensor.
lo and behold found a NOS sensor from Jim Ellis chevy in Chamblee GA.
the sensor must have been there longer than Jim Ellis, cause the part was orig delivered to Ed Morse chevy.
anyone from Chamblee know if Jim Ellis bought Ed Morse chevy, cause the addy for Ed Morse comes up at Jim Ellis chevy
oh yeah, the part went over 4000 miles before it got to me

Yeah, what a shame it is. I related to that post myself because I started out in construction wearing those Sears boots and wore them all along till the great American institution named Sears went under.

No No No. You want your tile to come from Italy  Seriously, anything made in America is great and good to see. But there was a time when we were the leader in manufacturing and we made great quality. But back then there were certain things other countries were known for and it was ok to source that w/o harming us. It usually meant more expensive, too. Italian shoes, French furs, Swiss watches, Swedish meatballs (), and absolutely nothing from China. Remember import shops? Maybe one in every big city. Now if you say something in an import people will wonder why you even mentioned that, like Big Whoop!

Yep. It's criminal what the tire industry has been allowed to do by those who regulate them. I'm sure they enjoy the pleasure of one another's wife. It's ok as long as the date of mfgr is put on the tire. Then it's the customer's fault their tire with little wear blew out and caused injury and damage to their vehicle, possibly others. Pretty slick way to put the public at risk while gaining profits.

Those old Goodyear's sure look good for their age. Made in the day when tires lasted longer than banana's.

There aren’t any cracks even in the treads and they still had air in them not full but far from flat . Don’t think I’d trust them any more than a slow scoot around the block
