Drove it to work Friday. Going back after lunch I noticed a vibration at 30-40 mph. Turned around, took it home and parked it. Came home from church tonight riding with my wife driving her Traverse. When we pulled in the garage I saw the problem. Missing lug nut on the left rear. Jacked her up and tightened the other four. I worked on the brakes about 3 weeks ago and must have left the lug nuts only snugged.

Just drove it today and stopped at a cruise-in for a few mins. But yesterday I used it to tow home my new to me boat a 1978 Cobra with a 80 hp Mercury!

I'm proud of my progress and have to brag via photo one more time now that I have another round on it since yesterday.

Beginning, middle and end! Well nearly, one more scuff coat and final sand to come tomorrow.

I'm finally back on the truck after a six plus month layoff from wrenching. Yesterday, I cleaned up the shop and organized about a million "little bits". Last night, I told myself, "When I go over to the shop, I'm going to pay attention to ONE chore only".

So, when I went over today, I *almost* finished plumbing the Vintage Air. It worked...that's ALL I worked on. Tomorrow, some pics. And, hopefully, a finished plumb and electric job on the air.

What hose is that for your upper radiator hose?

Got the plumbing all hooked up for the Vintage Air. The cable in for the heater, the electrical fished thru. On the second pic, you can see the binary switch (cuts off if there's no pressure in the system) on the hard line. Two wires go to it (obviously)....one from the compressor, and the other "hot" from the control panel. I have that "hot" one coming thru the lower part of the firewall, then down thru the fender, and then under the battery tray...it's just flopping around (green wire). I'll route both of those tomorrow and tighten down the 55 Chevy heater hose brackets to the inner fender.

BTW, and in case anybody noticed, the heater return hose won't even close to touching the accessory belt after the clamps are in place. Hahahaha!!!
