This is my truck from what it started as to present. Has a 5.3 out of a 01' Silverado. Engine is not running yet im still getting my fuel system and brakes done. The design at the end will be airbrushed on the bed with designs in the tribal. I am getting ready to take the fenders and bed to my painter just wanted to get everything aligned. Let me know what you think.

So I sold the 69 C10 I was doing a frame-off on to help put a down payment on a house. Fast forward 8months later and I need a decent runnin' work truck. Something cheap, dependable, and easy to work on. Picked this puppy up last month. 86 K10 shortbox. 305 was replaced with a 350. 700r4. Got a few lil' problems that need fixin', but its solid and fires up and runs every time. Gonna be repainting it the original midnight blue.

The day I got it.

2 weeks later when I hit an ice patch and head-butted a guardrail on the way in to work. :cuss: ....The truck has tasted combat...and likes it!:metal:

Watchin' craigslist right now, but I'll be junkyard hoppin' for parts here shortly when I've got some time off.

Thats what I am curently running. FUnny you should mention those wheels. I really like them too, but have been thinking of updating my head/parking/sidemarker/tail lights to more of the clear euro style lights. What do you think?

I want this truck to ride the line between traditional and new school. I like the impala wheel look, but i want some more euro style lights. keeping the old school snap on tonneau cover (costing 325 to have handmade BTW, damn!),but with the newer style billet grill and peekaboo lights.

I hope it doesnt look like a total mess when I get done, hahahaha.
