Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
Did those delrin tailgate pieces help with the noise as you expected? Also, do those Altman latches retain the use of the lock stem on the inside?
|
Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
The delrin trunions definitely cut down on noise from the tailgate. The Altman latches do retain the use of the lock rods and buttons on the inside.

If anybody wants to check out Gringo's truck, I will have it at C10's in the Park this weekend in Waxahachie, TX.

Also, checked out your Blazer too, did not see anyone around them when we looked them over, so unfortunately we did not get to meet any of you and the crew. |
Re: How to: Ruin a perfectly good C10
I never have been able to make it to that event. I would bet a dollar that you drove within 5 to 10 minutes of my house on the way.

Sorry, we weren't around when you were by the trucks, there is a lot to look at over there. If Gringo would have gotten me a life-sized cut-out, at least you could have met him! I would have liked to have been able to meet you. |
