This guy lives around the corner from where I work. G-body front clip & driveway built step notch out back. It's a static drop too (he relocated the upper mount for the rear coils when he did the notch). 350/t-400/edelbrock carb. Says he gets about 15mpgs out of it.

I've seen it on the web before but never in person until last weekend....

Anyone know where the air tanks is on this beauty? I'm not generally a fan of bagged trucks but this is so well done and has JUST the right attitude in my opinion

Here’s my truck wearing photo edited fenders skirts. I’m sure looking forward to some decent weather so I can get outside and work on my truck instead of spending too much time at the computer!

I took these pics the other day.
These photos were taken by my phone (8MP), but at great distant so it's grainy.
This truck was so beautiful! As I got closer to get a better pic the Ole' boyz drove off! It was a perfect flawless truck! Professionally built and babied!
Made me think of 2 tone. White/Yellow:metal:
I think the yellow had Mother-of-Pearl Over-glaze finish.
Pearls add not only depth but a brilliant color changing effect when exposed to certain light.

The factory correct light yellow looks so much better than the bright yellow color that seem so prevalent today, IMO.

A Chevy step side for sale in Wasilla, AK. I can't tell what model year. '60 or '61 with a later model hood? '63 with a '60 or '61 grille (quad headlights)? I didn't think to read the sign on the dash...

No worries! I was just stuck in the house for too long and decided to do a "what if" exercise out of boredom. I have found fender skirts interesting on certain vehicles, but my truck isn't one of them. I think my truck has a better chance of getting a supercharged big block than skirts, which is just about as unlikely!

The bodywork looks very straight. Certainly a one of a kind paint scheme.

At the risk of offending you (not intended), I liked your truck better BEFORE you painted the Torque Thrust spokes....but it's your truck of course.

SPeaking of blown big block; I was at the L.A. ROadsters Show over the weekend and saw this license plate frame: "Injection is fine, but I'd rather be blown"

Vulgar, but funny!

No offense taken, I liked it both ways. In fact I'm not sure it wouldn't look better with dark metallic gray spokes. My enthusiasm goes in cycles, so when I get bored with the way it looks now I might try that next! If I had painted the truck gloss black I probably would have left the spokes cast iron gray, but I thought they looked too washed out with the satin black body.

Thanks its my 3rd 60's c10 my first fell victem to a lady cuttin accross the road in a 2010 volvo only the second day driving it after putting a new motor in, the second was way to rusted out, so i picked this up from the original owner with only 93,000 miles on a 327 and powerglide for 2K and proceeded to slowly upgrade, unfortunatly it has been sitting since the volvo lady sued me last year for $45k but its summer and im putting it back on the road

:jdp::eek::ack: wow, the word "clean" doesn't do justice to your truck.

Thanks for posting the photos. Has the truck had any restoration work done or are we looking at a factory fresh truck?

the only way skirts look right for me is if they cover the back wheel all the way to the lip....of course that would require a radical lowering job...

V tough photo chop..angled driveway...

Thanks for the lowering job. Skirts would look a lot more appropriate with the truck dropped. I'm afraid my photoshop skills don't go that far.
