Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
I wonder which motor it has. I want a Detroit powered truck before it's all over.

That's a cool little White. I wish I knew the price.
That's a sweet ole L model. And,I wonder what that big B is set up for. It sure makes a nice looking big pickup. I wonder what this Chevy is set up for: |

I don't know if any of you remember this one. But I was a lil dissapointed to not see this truck in the pics yet. Seems to me with all the iconic trucks out there this one was overlooked. Unfortunatly this is all I could find from the old TV show "BJ and the Bear"...
Attachment 741804 Attachment 741805 Attachment 741806 I was a fanatic for this show when I was about 3. Especialy since my dad drove a cabover KW. And the Chimp made it all the better... |

It was left to you to post about "BJ & The Bear"...thanks! I never watched tv back then but remember the show. There was a lot of "truckin'" hitting the mainstream back in the '70s. Does anyone remember the movie "White Line Fever"?

Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
It was a fun day. I was riding with my friend,Chuck,in that painted up '59 Reo box truck. He's in the B&O Historical Society and saw where the roundhouse at Martinsburg had just received a slew of work and,in conjunction with Martinsburg Heritage Days, there would be a one day only tour. So,we rode out there first. We never got to see the roundhouse (inside). Some BS about pigeon poop ...seriously! But,it was a nice day and fun to ride in the Reo.
Here's a video on 340 following a Desoto and a short one pulling up to the flea market at Harpers Ferry. http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z..._videos003.jpg http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z..._videos004.jpg |
