Good looking truck & good looking kid! Looks like your son grew up with the truck. So... don't you think when it is done it should be his daily driver?

One of the best 57 GMC! $2400. Claims to be NAPCO but not much left of those parts. None the less if the demon rust hasn't taken over this is a good price.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/c...438086724.html Original build sheet was in the seat Numbers matching! V8, 4 Speed, Divorced transfer case Open knuckle disk brake front end Typical sheet metal repair In dry storage for 12 years 95% Complete Runs good Nice project |
Re: NAPCO Thread
I could be wrong but I thought in 1960 Chevy started supplying all 4X4’s with factory equipped four wheel drive, no more NAPCO products.
|
Re: NAPCO Thread
yup. Only 1 tons were NAPCO. That one wouldn't matter anyways since he swapped the axle out. But not a bad price tho....

Re: NAPCO Thread
I haven't checked this thread in a while, it's good to see some new pictures. That green 57 is frickin' gorgeous, it gives me hope. I haven't got a lot done to mine recently. I'm hoping to change that soon. I've been busy on another car and trying to get it to auction this spring. I do have the transfer case and SM420 freshened up, pretty and ready to go. The front axle was all busted up. I ended up with 3 broke trunnions and had a friend repair those. It's all been rebuilt and back together. I have the engine work done, just need to assemble it.
