Re: My 68 swb build.
I agree with VC. That would look best with the other chrome on the truck.

Re: My 68 swb build.
I hope so. I'm tired of waiting. Instead of blasting the floor he used some type of acid that turns white and then into epoxy. Then he's suppose to seam seal everything. I'm kinda excited to actually get to work on the cab once again. Oh I think I may have found a seat. It's in deer park. I talked him down to 125 bucks and maybe get it a little cheaper if I can trade him some parts. It's already been reupholstered in tan and black so id just have to get rid of the tan color. Will post a pic as soon as I get one

Re: My 68 swb build.
Your thread has been a good help in my 68 4x4 stepside build. I planned 6 months and am realizing that probably won't do it. Do you know if a 72 cab will match up to the 68 fenders and cowling properly?

Re: My 68 swb build.
Ya should be no problem as long as all ur front clip is 67-68 model parts. Mine is a 69 cab and a true 67 front with a 68 frame. If ur going to the 68 look u have to swap front genders core support headlights and hood latch and brace. It's not too bad if u have everything. One other thing and I may be backwards on this is the core support mounts on the frame have to be opened up.

Re: My 68 swb build.
I'm actually just dropping the 72 cab on the complete 68. The floor, rear corners, and firewall are all rusted out. I was hoping to use the 72 radiator support though.

using the 72 wont work unless u do some driilling and cutting. i believe ther was a thread somewhere where ppl modded it to work but it takes a lil bt of time and effort |
