Re: The "Frankenstine" build;

Hey Tim, ever use some stuff called "Feather fill", it's like regular filler, but very thin. Great for filling in small pin holes, etc. Panel is looking real good...Jim

Re: The "Frankenstine" build;

HI All;

Well I think I will try to put the other two gauges in the dash tomorrow.

Have the gauges out of a1978 chevy pu,fit the gauges into the buckets from the 47 to 54 model gauge buckets.

Thinking about putting the speedo on the D/S n the gas gauge on the P/S.

Will try to get pic tomorrow.

Hello Everyone: :mm:

Have the pic of the bear claw latches. ;)
These latches come out of a 1902 chevy 1/2 ton full size van.
The van had power windows,power door locks with the push button type of handles.
I'm wondering just how much trouble it would be to install these type of bear claw latches in to the doors on my project. :lol:
I'm enclosing the pic of the bear claw latch with the handles.
If someone need the size of the bear claw latch,just let me know n I will take another set of pic with the tape layed on the latches.

Re: The "Frankenstine" build;

Looks like a possible solution though I haven't seen that done someone on here probably has. How are they size wise compared to the door and pillar?

Re: The "Frankenstine" build;

Tim, The gauges look great! I was going to do the same with the speedo and gas gauge , I even got them mounted up in their housings then I discovered I need a electric speedo to mate up with the 700r tranny I have:confused:

Hello; :mm:

Had a brain teaser. :lol:
Went out to the truck n just looked at the interior.
Come up with an ideal to make a under dash valance (drawing)
All so the kick panel (Drawing)
Then last but not least the door panel (Drawing)
Have not though about the arm rest door handle cover yet.
Going to try n go with power windows.

Hope that this just might help someone with measurements.
