Or I can go with AN6 hoses all the way. Also thinking of buying a crimper to crimp ferrules for hose ends instead of the push on units. I can also use that for the power steering lines if I want. Need ideas on mounting the trans cooler though. |

Re: New 64 Stepper Project
Purchased the Mooneyes Air Cleaner and had it sent to El Paso Plating direct. Should be there tomorrow afternoon.
Found a 17" Seven blade fan to mate up to a fan clutch clutch. |

What really surprises me is that I bought this from California Car Cover on the 16th. They sent it to El Paso Plating who plated it and sent it home completed in that amount of time. |
Re: New 64 Stepper Project
It does look really good!
That is super fast. I haven't had anything done yet, but I plan on using them also. |
Re: New 64 Stepper Project
Can't wait to see that air cleaner installed! Bet your getting anxious yourself.

Another pic of the top. I like the cast aluminum, not billet. However I don't like to polish the stuff, so...

Re: New 64 Stepper Project
So I'm looking at the Hedman 69830's with 3/8" flanges. I see they have fit well on newer trucks, any comments on if they will be a problem on ours? - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=353842

So I bought a pair of these and sent them home (still on the road). They are 5" or 5.25" long perfect for a key fob that wont scratch the dash.

Re: New 64 Stepper Project
While I was at home for Christmas I changed out my hood hinges and brake booster. Had to set the booster to master cylinder dimensions, but it all worked out.
