Oh man the engine compartment looks awesome!

How did you role the inner fender and what did you use for cutting?

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

thanks everyone....i used a 4.25" OD roller on one radius of the fender and a 3" OD roller on the other (lower) radius.....the fan shroud, i used a brake.....
i used a combo of cutting tools, one was a plasma cutter and the other was a cut-off wheel

WOW!! Awesome build!!

Couple of questions that I may have missed:

1. What headers are you using?

2. Please explain to me the parts used for your lines to and from your power steering box and the pump. I like the braided lines.

Nice work man!!

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

the headers are for a 99-02 firebird/camaro........

im working on the bed, i had to raise the bed floor 4" to clear the notch.....also we're converting it to a wood floor..... started by clearancing the rear most crossmember, and raiseing it 4".....then i bent up some new angles, measures up 4" from the bed floor, made my cuts, trimmed my angle to fit, clekoed angle in place, and repeated the same process for the other side.......once that was done i started with raseing my bed mounts..... i made a simple raised mount, that happened to turn out looking like alabama......then i welded my alabama bracket in place.......thinking my alabama bracket looked to plain/square (altho i doubt this would easily be seen), i added a few curves for the other bed mount bracket, further up on the frame.....this bracket came out looking like the lockness monster head comeing outta the water (so i was happy with this one:lol:)
then i welded the lockness monster in place, then proceeded to make alabama look like lockness, so they would match......the rear tubs are in the design process, and will be more of a round design, rather then the stock 'square-ish' design..

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

makeing some progress on the bed.... its starting to look like a bed again.....since we narrowed the rear end, we had to tub it....since the dash is round and the stock tubs wouldnt match anything
( they are square-ish) we desided to do a round tub..... at first we wanted 'BIGGEST' tubs, but after makeing them 24" wide, it really subtracted from the rest of the bed....all you focused on was how wide they were, and didnt notice anything else......so they were trimmed down (16.5" wide) till they were finally 'BIG' but less of a distraction, and more of a complament to the rest of the bed.......here is the process, trial fit them in there, notch the bottom for axle clearence, trim to make it fit flush with the inner bed side, build a mounting flange, weld it on, and temperally cleco it in place.....and lastly for looks i sat the wood in there....of coarse some peices of wood will need to be specially cut/ fitted, but you kinda get the picture....sorry first pic is so fuzzzzy

bliitz- ill have to let hulk71 feild that ? for ya...;)

got the wood cut to go around the new tubs.....also got the tubs to be 'bolt on'....i drilled some holes for where the bolts will go, then made some nutplates, drilled smaller holes around mounting hole (so i could plug weld the nutplate), plug welded them in place, then grind down the welds...

after the fenders were mounted, they needed some flanges to cover the edge of the wood. so i made some flanges and welded them on...

Re: project INCREDIBLE HULK 6.2L with 6L80E

after i welded the flanges on i had a little gap (between the fender and flange)..... after looking at it, it started to bug me....and i thought it would look better if it was smooth (no gap)... so i welded in the gap and smoothed it over....also note, that i rounded the sharp edges where the flanges came together...and finally the end result.

Looks good...any pictures of the inside of the door so I can see what you did with that round hump that runs around the outside of the door? Thanks. Are those powered bear claws? And have you tested them with glass in the door (additional weight)? Are you running an additional manual popper anywhere (I was told I needed to)?

i can get pics of the inside for ya....yes they are power latches....yes, i did install the glass, for fitment/position of the latches and solinoid... i dont plan on useing any popers, i think the door seals will do that job fine...

Thanks for the info...looking forward to the pictures. I am going to use the newer press in style weatherstrip so I'm not sure if that will be looser or tighter than normal weatherstrip so I have a set of poppers just in case they don't open enough.

If you end up needing a set of poppers I got two accidentally so let me know and I'll sell them to you for what I paid. THey're nice aluminum adjustable ones (non-power)
