I think 70 CST Short Wide might like this "mini bike"

when i was a kid, my dad's brother put a yamaha 650 special engine in the back of his honda odyssey. i would stand on the rear of the frame and he would do mile long wheelies with sparks shootin' out everywhere.
not the mini van odyssey, the atv odyssey, like this

The 250 Odysseys like that one weren't really much. When they came out with the 350 Odyssey that thing rocked. A couple years later they had the Pilot which was a liquid cooled 400. I never got to drive one of those but was told they were over the top insane type of excitement. I know my brother rolled one at a Honda Fun Days event in the early 90s. Things like that are probably why Honda quit hosting such events. Lmao

We'd roll those Odyssey 250s every time we ran them. I thought that was the idea

Yep...my little brother had one, saw him roll it end over end many times. It's a good thing they had those wrist straps to the steering wheel to keep you from putting your arm out.

1st pic: I'm a biker. Those are stupid. I'm seeing a lot of that with the next generations who seems to have an M.O, anything but how they did it before. There's a reason for that

2nd: Safety first. WW1 helmet. I've seen a few of these. Wouldn't the motor burn up w/o water, or did they have air-cooled outboards?

3rd: Just plain wild!

Not so Grumpy now

That's awesome. Back in the day I used to see a Triumph TR7 mounted on a 4wd lifted Jeep frame.

I saved that picture ages ago. I wonder where it is now. Can anyone make out the state on the route number? Our state hiway routes are marked with signs just like that.

You guys go ahead and plow your snow in that cool '57. My plow days are over. I'm going out to play

ps: Hard to believe I got no comments on Bill Jenkins with Jungle Pam

Much more idiocy like that and we'll all be made to get a towing license. An added reg but might not be a bad idea. They could revoke this guy's and make the roads safer.

There's short on You Tube where an SUV that size is hauling a lifted Square body K20 Suburban loaded ass-heavy. He got the tail wagging bad enough for the trailer to scooch the SUV sideways to stop it. Lucky. Didn't roll anything and the 'Burb rear tire on one side jumps off the trailer but otherwise stayed on. The person tied it down well body his loading not so much

Maybe the owner of the trailer won't notice when he drops it off after he's through borrowing it. ;)

I must say, that guy is pretty smart to use the trailer to drag that log down the road to keep it from rolling around all over the place.

 Using the tires and wheels as chocks to keep it from sliding sideways is a nice touch.

I thought he cranked them to tight and folded up the trailer .

Bet when he was done he stood back and said “That’s not going anywhere “

Miss the speed shops. We had several cool ones in the greater Seattle area.

I dont remember the year, but possibly early 80's? Several of us went to the Car Craft Street Machine Nationals in Sacramento and we went to Tognottis, man that place was enormous! Put all of our places to shame lol.

I miss all the independent speed and Harley shops. That used to be something to do, stop in just to browse, chat, and maybe even buy something. And when you did buy something, it was from a guy you had gotten to know, knew your vehicle, and knew the direction you were taking it. Then there was always that thing called good advise

I still go to East Coast Speed it’s a local speed shop I believe started in the early 60s .

“ECS Auto Stores, Inc. has been an automotive aftermarket retailer since 1967. Operating with the original owner, same location, and one of the original co-workers, we feel we know a thing or two about parts, service, loyalty and dedication. We bring to you over 125 years combined automotive experience and knowledge”
https://ecsautostores.com/about/

Real knowledgeable and they build circle track cars in the back shop

My go to for the Harley is East Side Speed in Ellenville NY . They work on all bikes but they specialize in Harley

In Dallas we had Hot Rod Exchange, a used parts store.

Big Mike Burkhart's Auxillary Gas Tanks. https://www.nhra.com/news/2013/legend-big-mike-burkhart

Raymond Beadle's Blue Max Speed Shop.

Larry LaDue, The Tennessee Bo-Weevil pilot's Mini Truck Specialties

Super Shops in Richardson.

Flash Gordon Mineo's shop in Rockwall.

I worked next door to Blue Max and for Larry LaDue.
