Got stuck behind a load of stone

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Dang, I can't decide which direction to head.
East toward Grumpy's place for steaks or west toward Poppi's shop to check out cars. I am the Poppi around here. When the kids are here they head out to the shop with me. Nothing gets done but we have fun. |
Re: My Facetruck thread.
I'd head for Grumpys....I'd be scared he'd eat up all those steaks before I got back from looking at cars..
|
Re: My Facetruck thread.
I'd be heading for Grumpy's delicious steaks too..
I can't afford any of poppi's customer's cars  |
Re: My Facetruck thread.
Had "the talk" with my 12yo son today. He seems fine. I am traumatized.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
What did your 12 year old son teach you ?

We don't worry about running out of steaks around here and when you get tired of steak there's always some turkey to round up . Ours just don't come wrapped in plastic

I have said before here, I tried work once, and didn't like it. I am sure it wouldn't suit me now. Now I have seen enough out of Grumpy, that when he observed my worthlessness, he would give me an attitude adjustment, and all I have to do is walk upstairs for that, so I am going to sit right here close to the fireplace until TOTMBO hollers down that lunch is ready. I am obviously bored. |

The chef at a hotel in Switzerland lost a finger in a meat cutting machine and after a little shopping round, submitted a claim to his insurance company. The company expecting negligence sent out one of its men to have a look for himself. He tried the machine and he also lost a finger.. The Chef's' claim was approved

Re: My Facetruck thread.
When a robbers .38 caliber revolver failed to fire at his intended victim during a hold-up in Long Beach , California, would-be robber did something that can only inspire wonder.
To his demise, He peered down the barrel and tried the trigger again. |
Re: My Facetruck thread.
I guess he never saw the problem

I sold my 1985 Mercedes 500 SEL. I never drove it, and didn't need it.
A friend of mine bought it new in Reno, NV, and I had owned it several years. It is as close to new as you will find. |
Re: My Facetruck thread.
After stopping for drinks at an illegal bar, a Zimbabwean bus driver found that the 20 mental patients he was supposed to be transporting from Harare to Bulawayo had escaped. Not wanting to admit his incompetence, the driver went to a nearby bus stop and offered everyone waiting there a free ride. He then delivered the passengers to the mental hospital, telling the staff* that the patients were very excitable and prone to bizarre fantasies.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
In post #483 I couldn't figure what the "illegal" part of the bar had to do with the story line, but I forgot to take it out.

Some of you may remember, in the vintage picture thread, I posted a picture of a green and white, 72 K10, SWB that I sold a friend of mine 30 years ago, and he still complains I skinned him.
Well, last week I ran into him at the hardware store. He looked at me for a long second, and said "you need to buy my yellow Blazer". I responded with, I don't want a Blazer, I don't need a Blazer, I'm really not that in to Blazers............, then he said I'll take $x,xxx.xx, and I said "but for an old friend like you, I'll take it off your hands". This Blazer has been right here all it's life. The guy that had it passed and his son got it, but had no interest. My friend bought it from him drove it to his pasture, and parked it. |
Re: My Facetruck thread.
I want that Blazer .
