So I have been complaining about the way Shiro runs since I've had it. I read about tuning the I6 but didn't believe that the spark plug gap should be .060 with an HEI. Well, it works well, the I6 runs much better accelerating without any hesitation to 70mph. We also changed the air filter from a little chrome 3 1/2" deal to a cone style that looks out of place but has to breath better. Just thought I'd share a bright spot for today. We took it to a cruise-in last night and I snapped a pic. While on the way home we stopped by the Chevy dealer to visit with the latest generation and snapped another pic...

Thanks Rus, what's up with your 6.0L?

Re: Project: Shiro

We are trying to buy a new house and we could just use the money. I still have my entire project for sale here locally but I would much rather part with just the 6.0 swap and just buy another one later.

The new house is coming along, it won't be long and we'll be blowing Shiro apart in that garage!

I'm probably in the same boat, but have to ask, exactly how much would it take for you to let go of it?

I will be asking $21,500 obo for the truck, the Porterbuilt parts, and the new sheetmetal. If you are going to build one it will save you time and money. :chevy:
