you could also use seat belt latches....


as far as rattles, you could drill the hole over-sized and put a rubber grommet in it to cushion the sliding bar

I'd get the ones from mar-k. So when your haulin a load it can take it. I could see haulin something and the sheet metal screws ripping out.

I wouldn't be the only one on here with screws loose....
I do remember seeing the seat belts installed and I really thought that was a slick idea.

No, it does not. I drilled the holes just barely larger than the pins and I have to lean on the gate to close it. It's tight. I know its hard to believe, but Im guessing that your tailgate isnt perfectly square...:lol:...mines not. It 'naturally' holds itself in place.

Ive seen the seatbelt latches in a couple places, but the one I remember lately was Hillbilly Deluxe....I think.
