Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!
My dad built a tow hitch for his truck (now mine) probably in the 1980's. It's never towed anything. I intend to change that. Once my truck is running, I will have the rear wired for trailer lights.
I am in a welding class and I am going to make a "D" ring towing hitch in the next couple of weeks. |

Trucks are for hauling and the longer the bed, the more hauling they can do. |

I forgot to post this, just a few rocks for the fire pit. I've taken out the plastic bed liner since then. Nevertheless, had to take it easy around the corners. A few tools in my box too Bishops Trucks.;) http://cdn.ipernity.com/200/06/00/40...2550c.1024.jpg |

Here is our 1970 C10 towing our 1960 18' Chris Craft. Both have SBC in them. I bought the truck in May last year and after a few miles around town and close to home to work out a few issues, I put it to work towing. It made 2 300 mile trips with no issues. The last trip was about 150 without the trailer and it got 18.3 mpg. I was watching the gauge all the way thinking it wasn't working properly. When I topped off the tank I couldn't believe the mileage.

Wanted to see what a legitimate half ton felt like. The previous owner had something done on the transmission, it shifts hard (nice quick shift) when empty, really smooth when loaded, I'm impressed.
