man i sure like that radiator cover. do you have a 69-72 front end laying around you could lay them on and see that would need to be done to fit them?

Re: 68 S/C update.....

what I meant was that you really want fresh COLD air for that puppy to make make power. If all the air has to come through the radiator then it's going to be hot...

If there was a way to extend that air filter to reach fresh air (through the rad support or below it) then it would "seem" better... i'm not eninge pro though, just an observation...

When I put the burb back together, I'll take a look at that.

I'm picking up what you're putting down, :), I will eventually try to plumb a "cold air" box for air intake. Which should make a big difference.

Sounds good.

Well I finally got the new insulation and floormat installed. I can really tell the difference on the inside of the cab as far as heat and noise. This pretty well wraps up my interior "remodel", :). Just a few more little things and I can call this "Build" complete, :D.

I got it from Early Classic, but it came from one of their vendors but I'm not remember who. The quality and an thickness are great as well as the contours. It has a few air pockets, but that's mostly due to me using the Fatmat (double layer). I think they will go away after sitting the truck out in the sun for a few days.

I ordered it off of their website. It's the same price that they list it on ebay.

Thanks. I got it at a boat shop. 2 machine screws hold it on. I posted pictures of the install a few pages back when I put my seats in.

+1, The bedliner will cut down on some of the noise, but it will probably not do to much for the heat. For the price, you can't beat the added protection of the insulation, JMHO.

bedliner will do great as far as road noise and heat also from rock damage on the uderside of fenders etc... works great we had a 1934 Ford Sedan we did the lining on all the underside of fenders and it saved them from rock stars and even a tire weight that came off at 80mph on the freeway if the lining wasn't there it would have went throght the fender instead it pushed a reversed dent to the top of the fender and with a hammer wrapped with a rag and a dolly tapped it back in and was back to looking good so i highly suggest it.... as for the inside i would still do the fatmat or dynamat because it makes it real nice inside with the windows up no noise and helps with audio just my 2 cents:rolleyes:
