2" Drop Shackles, went from 10 leafs to 4, new tires, same size rims (16"), I haven't touched the front yet.
Any recommendations on lowering the front of a 3/4 ton like 3"? Before http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/...psc9d85830.jpg After http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/...ps27833239.jpg Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66
65 Fleetside is that 6 inches all the way around? It must be the photo because that sure does not look low enough to be 6 inches. I'm sorry. I don't mean to send guess you. It is your truck and you know better than I do.

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66
Yes, it's 6 inches for sure and it is my truck. My brother built this thing from the ground up, over the last 20 years.

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66
Alot of people don't keep the original emergency brake mech arm installed but I thought it looked cool there to the left and doesn't really get in the way at all and I'm 6' 1" tall.

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66
Too many factors there... simplify... set the truck where it's gonna ride... measure from the inside most obstruction (frame?) to the inside of the fender and subtract clearance..
(I use 3 inches) My rear tires have almost a 22" section width but my frame isn't stock. I could squeeze a 15" tire in there when the frame wasn't altered.. :5150: |

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66
Thanks guys. My uncle bought this truck new and I've had it since 1988. My son has claimed it as his since he was big enough to talk so I just left it on the back burner. 4 1/2 years ago when he was 12 he started whining to start working on it. Originally we were just going to paint it and put wheels on it but it kind of got out of hand, lol.
