Throw it up on photobucket, then get it to IMG code, copy then paste

Thanks truckfan. When I build this one up I can't decide if I want a regular pickup box or an aluminum flatbed. I thought this one was pretty tough looking.

Sure looks a lot better after paint, rims and tires. Like the Beast on the trailer, what would it weigh and what powertrain, any Gm parts on it.

Thanks, I am working on getting some old "hurricane" wheels and 37" tires on it now. The wheels in the picture belong on my '66 K20.

The truck on the trailer is my '51 Dodge M37, it weighs 6200+ lbs when clean and the trailer is over 3000 lbs. It currently has a 383 (dodge) but will be getting a 440 in the future.

Picked up a new project, a 1985 long bed. It's a pretty high optioned truck with no rust. Runs and drives great, just gotta fix little things here and there and drive it!

That's a good looking canvas there. My uncle had one that looked like that, it was just a 3/4 ton with a 454.

Um, hi guys...long time, no see! I'm amazed it's been a year since I last logged on here. Time to get back into it, right? Anyways my two squares:

Lester:

Whitey:
http://images.craigslist.org/00C0C_6...In_600x450.jpg

What's crazy is that I don't even like white trucks. ;)

Lester is a '79 with 117,000 original miles and an Olds 350 under the hood. I actually haven;t even picked him up yet, I just bought him last week! So I'm pretty excited about this one. :)

Whitey is an '86 M1008 with 69,000 and a bad injector pump. He's been off and on for sale for about 6 months, but I'm at this point considering just biting the bullet and fixing him.

Anyways, that's my junk. :)

I may be wrong, but I think that stopped with the '80 refresh?

I have seen some early-mid 80s ones. I think Keith chimed in about long bed stepside availability in a thread about them.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?

I have noticed that and thought it was almost spot on for color. I bought mine this color and have been asked at a few shows what color red it was but had no idea. Do you know your color. I just got my new Nitto Mud Grapplers in today but the tire shop is closed now till Jan 2nd so have to wait to have them installed. I was running a 38.5/13.50/17" tire and rim, what size rim do you run, seem a lot bigger than my 17" but could be tire size too. Very cool color though.
