paper dolls and cut outs are over, now just mount the template to my 1/4" plywood and cut out and my spacer plate should be done

Maybe I will get mine done soon. I keep saying it will be done by Christmas. Its been 2 1/2 years. I dont lack much at this point. Doors and the interior.

I had good luck with Tri-plus doors, what do you have to do on the interior

Finished up the remote oil filter, aftermarket battery tray was warped when welded, made install a PITA. Keep the thread sealant off the first couple threads

Now I can install larger capacity oil filter

sure going to miss my tool tray, when I install my dual batteries. But, first I have to find and figure out the harness

Hoses were hitting inner wheel well, had to change in and out for clearance

Now I can re-install oil pan, since fittings are tight, needed clearance to swing the wrenches

I have everything done in the dash. I still need to install my roll bar, flooring and seats. I am going to line the floor first with FATMAT and then lay rubber flooring in rather than carpet. Once I am done with that, its just a few little things and then I will be ready for a test drive.

Re: PO has me PO'd

ok, so today I got the bright idea to mount my tins on the cylinder head. Plan to make a bridge off of the perimeter bolts( my vortec heads have center bolts and perimeter bolts) using hexagon stock

After some thought, I came up with trying my repro(GM) scripts. Seems like they will work as well

I found some sheathing that looks like original, and some shrink tubing with the same weave. Only, this stuff melts at a much lower temp. So, don't use a blow torch, when an alcohol lamp will do

Thanks, but at the moment, it's daunting.....trying to get my computers and cam & crank sensors to talk to one another, I can't find a yellow wire. As Vic says " I hate it, when it goes in one color, and comes out another"

Welcome aboard, this is the best forum around. No BS, just a bunch of Motorheads helping each other out
