I've never seen one in black before. I kind of like the look though. I don't know if I'd do it but I would think about it.

MIL doesn't get a tent. She gets a rope tied to the back bumper. Hang on granny, it's going to be a bumpy ride. :lol:

Silly question. Obviously by where the picture was taken from, judging by the direction the seats are facing. My questions are what's the TV for who's going to be watching that!!??

On one of those TV build shows some guys customized a camper for Pamela Anderson. It had one of those poles in it and of course she model'd with it. ;)

They may have started with an Argosy. Those had galvanized panels front and back where the vertical faces transitioned into the roof. In your first picture, you can see where the metal looks to be a different sheen at the rear transition panel. That way, you're not painting up an Airstream, just painting over the Argosy paint, although my guess is that they stripped the paint on the roof to make use of the reflectivity. All guesses tho - maybe there is more info on the site where Killer Bee found his pictures.

I would never want a black camper, or any dark color. They all were white for many years for a reason. I'll save the nice looking paint for my tow vehicle
