I hope that his dad will be able to get the truck, would be a shame if the police sieze it and all this work for the cause he was working towards is lost....

Thanks Bob, I appreciate the follow up.

Dennis was well loved by many of us here on the forum. He had just finished his restoration on this truck and was so happy to take it to his first show. I can't imagine what put him in this situation, but it is tragic.

I understand you might be tempted to make negative comments considering how this ended, and police officers lives were at risk. In respect for his friends of the forum, I ask that you please keep your posts positive.

I just got a call from Jonboy and he informed me of the news, i am totally in shock as everyone here is as well. The brotha will be truly missed and I only talked with Dennis over the phone and he was always willing to help me with my build and to call him anytime. I will add him and his family to the prayer/bereavement list at my church. I'm at a lost for words at this point. What an awesome and talented friend who will be greatly missed especially here on Forum. RIP Dennis!! Gone but Never forgotten my friend!!!

If you have kids.... let them read the thread & the end outcome. Even if you're a great guy, drugs can quickly change things. My thoughts are w/his family & the officer that was injured doing his job.
