yesterday was a pretty day,the weather is cooling off and thought i'd get out for a drive and enjoy the last of the fall colours before everything goes away into storage.

thanks guys,i appreciate the kind words.this truck is,without a doubt,the best one of these i've ever had.it's making me look smarter than i really am(grade 3 was the hardest 4 years of my life)low miles hauling a camper and 25 years in storage saved the truck but didn't do the mechanical parts any good,but i'd rather rebuild all that,than rebuild the body.we've used it a fair bit this year.1 indoor show,several outdoor shows and Friday night cruises for coffee.never anything in the bed,her working days are over.time to get back to my other project now.take care,thanks again.Greg

Cool and rainy in the Ozarks this past weekend. Wife and I enjoyed some time in a cabin up in north AR. Took this photo off the back deck of the restaurant where we ate dinner. Clouds and mist were breaking up over the valley.

Like many people I dread the ending of long warm dry days on end and the coming of winter once the season starts to change. But I know fall has some of the best weather and we get used to cooler weather once it's here. I like it all. If I go to the mountains and the weather is wet and cool, I get to see life in the mountains on a cold wet day. It's all good!

I think every day is a great day, good weather or not. Some are just better than others. But I am thankful for every day I am able to wake up.

Is that pic from a Wheels Of Time show? I know back in the day when they were starting out they used to have a teeter totter like that at their shows.

I remember that. This show is the one in Cumberland, MD at the Allegheny County Fairgrounds, Western Maryland Street Rods Roundup. It happens on Labor Day weekend and this year was the 50th. Cars from all over the four state mountain area come. They hold a few games like this. My favorite event. More of a good times gathering than a show

my wife has seen this white deer several times on her way to work,i've seen it once.this morning she managed to get a few pictures although across a field quite a ways off but still cool.something we don't see very often.

Survey stake at one back corner of my property. Had a dispute in '07, the neighbors hired surveyors the day before the zoning hearing. My property runs 13 1/2" beyond my fence. They pulled the stake. I have this picture :lol:

Cleaning tons of mud off the boiler. Found several stamps on it. Pottstown Iron Co, Pottstown, PA. Interesting history of the town and its namesake. Temp gauge cleaned up pretty good also.

Yeah he's been hanging 'round for a few years now. Avoiding hunters pretty well. This picture was taken last year[11-20-22] in my front yard. Look close ,I'm pretty sure this guy's wearing someones Christmas lights.

This was yesterday on my way to radiation. I had a green light to make a left and a 21 y/o kid in a Shelby Mustang had a red light which he decided to ignore and smacked my car. It looks better in the pic. The front end and the wheel are all F'ed up. I felt sorry for the kid. He only had the car a month, got it as a B'day present. Mommy and Daddy are going to be pizzed.
I still made it to my Dr. appt. and Uber and the tow truck were waiting for me when I got out.
So I got zapped with radiation and got in a wreck all by 10:00 a.m. I must be living right.
