My brother bought a 71 Cheyenne Super a few years back with the same issue. There are fuse holders for each of the headlights. They were all corroded. We were able to clean them up and install new fuses to get the headlights working.

Tiger, I can't quit looking at your truck. That is the cleanest straightest truck I've seen in a long time. I'm loving that color, I almost painted mine that color.:metal:

Just picked up this 1971. Been wanting to build one for 10 years and finally pulled the trigger. Plan is to leave it stock except for a drop and wheels.
Love all the info on the forums so far.

Welcome!!! Looks like a nice solid truck. As one who appreciates "stock" probably a little more than "modified" I would say leave it alone but at least if you don't go crazy the drop can be undone if you don't like it.:metal:

Just picked up the yellow 72 for next to nothing and drove it home! I was looking for a good strong runner to pull the motor and tranny out for my 2wd Blazer project... Didn't think I would find such a solid truck! Barely any rust and everything on it worked, even the original AM radio!

Thanks for the compliment. Truck is current in the garage as I don't have headlights but soon I'll have some brighter bulbs and new alternator.

Keep the pics coming all, gives me ideas on what I can do with my truck.
