what lift/tire size/wheel backspacing? also as for using the sm465 was your truck equipped with that originally or did you adapt a 2wd version?

Thanks,
David

Re: post your 67-72 4x4

Im not entirely sure on the lift im guessing 4-5" front and around 6" in the back. Wheels are 36x12.5 military oz. I have no idea on the backspacing all i know is they stick out pretty good. The sm465 came in the truck from factory. I did have to make a custom linkage and z bar to use it due to the massive primarys on the headers

That is one sweet ride, can you post some pics of the engine with the turbo setup? What did the turbo set you back money wise?:gmc2:

Re: post your 67-72 4x4

It has 8" of suspension lift and 2" of body lift. The tires are 39.5-18-16.5 boggers and the wheels are 16.5X12 eagle alloy.

The color is a 2006 mazda code A4A true red. It looks a little more orange in person. It is a little more red than chevy torch red and a little more orange than viper red. I eyed one of those little mazda peter cars and got the code off of it.

I built the turbo headers and all the intake and exhaust plumbing from J bends, 180* bends and 45* bends. The turbo is a holset HT60 off of a 14 liter cummins road tractor, its too big, but the turbos are a dime a dozen. I paid $100 for the turbo of of CL. All the piping and the wastegate and BOV were about $400 roughly. I am not good at keeping reciepts.

I don't have a pic of then engine put all together, but here is one the night we put the bed and cab back on.

Very bad azz truck racin69z! Those HT60's are good turbos. I use them as a primary on tow twins.

This truck isn't mine, but I saw it in an alley today and figured I'd snap a few shots to post on the board.

I agree - do they make a Cummins valve cover? I did get rid of the ram on the steering wheel!

Here you go, your choice of red, or plain.
