Frame and susp are done. I'll touch up some paint on the frame, paint calipers, run air and brake lines. If all goes well ill paint engine this weekend. I'm getting a little excited. Lol

Can you post a picture of the 4 link brackets you put on the side of the frame. I am curious about how low you placed them on the frame

Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!

I can do it when I get home. The bottom of the bracket is 1 3/4 inch from the bottom of the frame.

Well the pics keep posting small. I'll figure out what I'm doing wrongvandvrepost them. Pm me your cell or email and I'll send them to you that way.
I had to modify the original brackets because of my notch. I had alreadty welded in PB notch so Scott's bracket wouldn't clear. I like the look of the bags behind the axle but that meant I had to cut out the notch and put Scott's notch in......

Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!

I have not spent much time on the burb lately as we have been working hard on my nova. Engine is built, ordered a few more goodies for her and so we are waiting till next week. I hung the front clip and started on the Porterbuilt hood hinges. Install was easy so far. Tomorrow I will install the hood and go from there. I just need an extra pair of hands to install it.

Juan,

That thing is sick! Makes my burb look like a monster truck. Good work man!

Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!

Thanks Steve. Between you and rob your burbs inspired me to build one.

I got my hood mounted today and snapped some pics. I'm happy with the way PB hood hinges Installed and work. The front clip is just lightly bolted in place. I'll finish up a patch I have to do on the fire wall, then start the body work on it.
