Joe, talking with you and Matt really got me motivated to get it back on the road. I have a lot of irons in the fire, but I have to start sometime. Now is as good as any........... Great meeting you.

no problem greg. Glad I met ya. Good talking with someone who understood my frustrations with this truck. And glad to hear joe and I got u worked up enough to start the k10 again. I'm sure if you just got it to fire its amazing how much and old v8 with an overly rich mixture of fuel can motivate yA

I swear by my old man's future grave that my timing mark was 30 degrees advanced hahah turn her back a bit and the throttle Down then took it to the parts store to show off my shiny new toy. Haha ran much much better. so looks like it's all just little things to do until somthing big brakes.

Re: 1965 C20 fleet side longbed DD low budget build.
Nice to find a thread from somebody local.
Just started my 65 Long bed project. Tractor paint rules! My shop is down the hill from the house so this one will be a driveway project. I hope the bride doesn't poison me before I get it going. Its a 327/turbo 350 and I've got in running great.(needs a smaller carb) Even the lights work! Next is some lo-buck lowering, exhaust (the current glass packs are mounted directly under the frame rails????) and wheels/tires. Probably go with truck ralleys I have or chrome smoothies I can buy cheap. I'll be looking for your C10s at Freds car guys lunch. W |

Ah, little leak ain't gonna hurt....makes slick burnouts easier.
|
Re: 1965 C20 fleet side longbed DD low budget build.

Re: 1965 C20 fleet side longbed DD low budget build.

|
Re: 1965 C20 fleet side longbed DD low budget build.
Maybe with 76stepside01's 75mm turbo it'll do a full on 4x4 burnout. chain The darn thing to a tree and let that motor scream.:metal::metal:
