All in due time. The tornado came through about two miles south of our house. Downtown had quite a bit of damage but all me got was some heavy rain and wind. Good to hear from you Shannon.

My driver's side for made it in Friday from California. After a little cleaning I installed it on the truck. It turned out to be a very clean and rust free door. The last picture is the major reason for replacing it.

Also, I have everything for an altitude adjustment on my daily driver. It is a Bell Tech 3-4 lowering kit( spindles, springs, hanger and shackle kit, and shocks). Hope to get it installed in the next few weeks.

You talked me into it. I contacted him this morning about more pictures. So we will see how it goes. My passenger side is in pretty good shape but it does have some places that need to be fixed in it.

My passenger side door arrived today from California. I think it might be in better shape than the drivers side. It does have the same problem, a speaker hole. But luky for me that plus a few small holes and that's it. Now all I need is a passenger swb bedside. Should be easy to find right?

Good looking build. Maybe I can see some of these trucks in person one day, if you ever need any help let me know. I work in the cartersville area and live in Gordon County. I need to learn all I can before I start my build in the next year or so.

stumbled across your build on the "static drop" thread, your ride height is perfect, absolutely spot on perfect! Subscribing so I can follow your progress, now have to go back to page one and read through your build. Beauty truck BTW!

Thanks for the kind words. I had thought about going another inch lower but will have to wait and see. Right now there is not a lot going on with the truck. Trying to save up to get it painted. But hopefully that will begin soon.

Tonight with the help of my son, we disassembled
the front sheet metal on my truck. I'm thinking at
ten years old he can handle this by himself next time.
Hoping to get the body work started in a few weeks. I
can't wait to see the progress.
