First off let me say that this truck is PERFECT on so many levels. I love love love the design and execution here. Was hoping for some more details on your a/c compressor bracket. Am I correct that you had to notch the stock bracket for adapter plates? I've heard this discussed a few times but never seen any pictures of it done. Thanks in advance.

I basically used glock35ipsc modified engine bracket design, and did what RocketKing done, except with v8 mounts and put them in the front frame holes - there is no modificactions to the a/c bracket, it worked perfect.

What heater core are you running on this rig. I want heat but dont like the looks of the stock bulky heater core hanging on the firewall.

How did you get the a/c compressor to fit in there? I have a 72 GMC with a 01 6.0 DBC and no such luck making the compressor fit down there.

I used the ac comp that came with my 6.2, fit no problem, no cutting at all. I used adapters on the lines from "Docs Blocks" but i don`t think they are still in business.

I understand, I realize this was 73'+ but by judging the size of all my connectors on each end of my LSx harness, I dont think I could feed them through a hole that small?

Re: LS swappers, post up your pics!!

thanks I ran them from the inside being careful with all the connectors, it takes time but its not to bad

Since that picture, we have redone the motor/frame mounts. We are changing the pan to an LSA pan for more clearence. The set up is a5.3/4L60e out of a 2000 GMC. We are using the stock truck front accessories, just going to smooth up the brackets and paint them.
