bjcaldwe, BlueJeep, oldman3, Larry Lindley, wayne4252004, 99 to Life, sparks54, Thank you all. I always love to share my pictures. I am really pleased with them and my buddy is too. The first one took about 6 hrs to do and I still have to make the front and back pieces to finish them off. That will not take long though.

It has been crazy busy lately so I have not gotten much done on the truck. I had to paint my daughters room so there went some of my hot rod time. But oh well. They love there room now that it is redone. I did get the drivers side inner well started. This one will be a little different because of the steering box. But same shape and profile. Next is the fun part , making it fit.

That inner fender is beautiful, Shannon. I ordered some parts for my bead roller to convert it to electric drive like yours. Hope I can turn out some pieces that are even half as good as what you're making.

Chevette, Thank you. Good deal on powering your bead roller. It is so much easier with it powered, plus you can do it yourself. You will have no problems with making the panels, I have seen your work.

oldman3, Thank you, It stinks when the computer goes down. I bet you had a lot of reading to catch up on.

I have been busy as always. I traded some work for a complete S10 frame. I replaced my buddies rocker panels, cab corners, and made a few patch panels on his S10. The frame is for my 54 truck that I have been collecting parts for over a year now. I have basically a whole truck including a 350/ 700r4, 8.8 rear with disc brakes and now the s10 frame for less than a $1000. That also includes some really nice sheet metal.

So tonight I made the lower steering column mount and finished welding the removable tranny tunnel and trimming it up on the back side. Next is some repair around the windshield area at the top. Nothing major. Then back on the drivers inner wheel well. I hope to finish them this weekend.

oldman3, 99 to Life, mknittle, 48ChevBagged, Daze57, chevythechief, Thank you all.

I worked on the drivers inner wheel wells today for a couple hours. I had to put a bubble were the steering box hoses come out because it was going to be too close. Next is to finish off the front and make back filler pieces to tie back to the toe boards. I will have them finish this week hopefully.

Re: 1948 Chevy / S10

Larry Lindley, Thank you. I have thought of making a custom set to replace the factory ones. But would be all custom with the panels bead rolled in them. But I have to find a good set of factory ones to go off. I have been thinking of it though. With the S10 there are too many things that could change, like how high or where the body is mounted and how the radiator support is mounted. I always like to have what I am working on so I know it fits.

Well it seems like forever since I posted last on it. I have been working on it off and on along with some bodywork on my buddies DD s10. I worked on it most of the day. Made a new top for the radiator cover/hood latch panel. Also made the front pieces to finish the wheel wells to the radiator support. Then made the back filler pieces to fit back to the toe boards. I have a few things to finish on them then they will be finished. I have a few little thing to finish up on then it is going home. Then onto the next project/projects.
