I'll be sure to post up the belts when I get them back. Going to look close to factory but not the correct boot.

Accuair elevel setup with dual compressors will be ordered as well as new 68 lower trim and I will get back to working on the cab by early next week.

was just checking to see any progress, with all the work on the shop truck I did not know if anything was being done here or not? Now I know

Re: Project#1: Bright Horizons - 68 Swb big block on Air!

Actually...it's a logistic issue...not the shop truck's fault. I can't get the truck out to weld the roof. Actually, I can't actually even maneuver around the truck right now. It's surrounded by his and customer's vehicles. I'm working on that issue now...

It's like paint prison...I see how that happens...just need to work on getting my own shop so I don't rely on others working around my project. I am getting back on it this week...if I can't get to it to work, I will bring it home because progress needs to be made.... other than ordering parts. Things will move quickly once the cab repairs are completed....almost all new sheetmetal for the front clip and bed...

Got the roof welded on today. Still have a few small filler patches I have to make and weld in but it's solid and together. Fit came out very good. door gaps actually look better than with the old roof and window measurements are all 100% the same.

As I mentioned before, if I were to do this again I would use a grinder, band saw, or air saw....not a sawzall with a floppy blade....going through the three different skins that come together caused the blade to deflect between 1/16" to 1/8" leaving a combined "hole" of 1/8" to 1/4" in a few areas...thankfully all the main mating points were spot on so everything has lined up beautifully and openings all look good

Here are the pics I got before my phone died...all four posts are now welded and I did a LOT more grinding and die grinding in the grooves after this as well as two of the small patches so it's very solid and almost complete

Will know as soon as I get an ETA from them...they told me last week it would be 7-10 days before they shipped because of SEMA. Once I get it I will mock it all up. First though, I need to get the bed off and front clip off/motor pulled...I'm going to finish the roof first, get that body worked and in primer, then hopefully will have my shop truck on the road so I can pick up the front clip and engine/tranny. Will bring the engine/tranny home to paint up the way we have planned and then mock up the accuair...

 I have plenty to do before it gets here...
...I imagine most vendors who are at sema have similar lead times ;)

Ahhh, no. But if you buy that line, fine.

Glad you aren't on the side of the road and need a part.

Going to watch this and probably other projects you do in the future. Hope you didn't get too wet yesterday.

Thanks, came through the storm fine. Wasn't bad at all here. Praying for those on the coast and up north who were affected...
