What's the drop on that? I'm looking at a twin to it and that's about the stance I'd like to end up with.

My 1992 C1500, bagged on 20 inch Ridler 695's. Lays currently crushing the exhaust y pipe. Soon to be remided and it will lay flat.

Nothing fancy about mine other than she is a 1988, got her in 1990 and slammed it.
Nothing special. Don't have the tonne cover on right now.

This came down 6" by a outfit that used to be in Gresham Oregon called Charley's Drop Shop.
They modified the lower A frames and not sure what was done in the back other than they had to notch the frame too.

This allowed better control of adjusting the caster and camber. She does not eat tires like the drop spindle lowered trucks. That I like !

The cross frame under the motor, 3" clearance. If the tire comes off the rim, she is on the asphalt.

Thanks Bill.

I ended up using some Monte Carlo shocks in the front and not sure in the rear which were air shocks.
I never did pull the rear springs as the overload spring needs to be changed.
We have a place up in Portland Oregon called Oregon Spring. I give them what measurements I have and they re-arch the overload spring.

I started out and was going to put a Air Lift (bag in a coil spring) setup in the rear but never did. I really need too as if your going pack anything around, she will come down and pumpkin will hit the bottom of the truck bed. Done that a few times ;-/

I remember being a little on the tipsy side heading back home from a friends house and forgot the 30mph curve. I hit it about 70mph and Everything in the cab was up against the door and window, including me. She went around that corner like she was on rails.

The front shocks were some trick gas shocks. I can't find the book on her since the move and in that book, I wrote down what shocks I used. Hope to find it but even if not, they can take those off and match them up.
She still rides like a car too.

Helmar

Why did you take off the billets?
Do you know the backspace on the TT wheels?
Are you running staggered?

On my old '93 with 5/8 drop, I had an exhaust shop make a new one & tuck it up higher.

I've got a 1997 C3500 Dually with a belltech drop spindles. Anyone else had issues with brakes pulling one way or other? There is a large gap between top of brake caliper and the spindle on my truck, and belltech sent me a second spindle and it measures the same, and looks the same with new caliper installed. (large gap at top, only on drivers side) This is causing caliper to twist, wear brakes uneven, and pull to the left.

My 96' 4.3 pulling my 64' Datsun 320. Both trucks flooded last year. The battery was disconnected so the electrics seemed fine after I let it dry out a few weeks. Looking to pull the 4.3/4L60 and drop in an LS/trans once I get the house finished up.

That’s awesome you have a Datsun! I’ve been wanting to do a 320 for a few years now.

Hey bud. You might have a bent brake caliper bracket.
Had a problem like that with a montero sport.
