Those brake lines are not the pre wound stainless lines. I actually wrapped those myself. I think I used a paint can for one and my travel mug for the other.

Last weekend was the annual trek to Austin. The absolute best car (and truck) show we get to go to. Great pre 63 event with the best music, food and rides as well as a killer swap meet. 4 days of big fun...

Took lots of pics but it will take a few days to get them loaded up. The coolest truck thing happening is all the big trucks. Pete and I are gathering parts to build a 58 big window COE Viking and this show had a bunch of COEs. Pics...

COE are definitely the hot lick. 58 wouldn't that be LCF ? wasn't 54, 55 the last year for COE ?

Hey James, you are probably right about the 58 not being called a COE. Maybe a Snubnose or Shorty or just Viking, don't really know but I sure dig it...

Pics...

I know, for some reason I love the big trucks too. Theres nothing practical about them, loud, uncomfortable and just weird looking... hmmm, sort of like me.

Today was a red sky morning, so to represent...heres Grizz's favorite color.

The Lonestar Roundup always has cars and trucks with great paint work and these 2 golden ones stood out to me. Sorry about the Ford but rumor has it that Gene Winfield, the king of blends and fades, painted it.

Here's a batch of cool trucks from the Roundup. The entry rule is everything has to be 1963 or older to qualify but as with the HAMB they allow a similar body style to register... and we all know that 63 and 66 are sort of similar.
