Thanks everybody. They'll have to be fraternal as one has discs and the other does not(both 70 cabs though).
I"ll get some more. There's really no difference in the beds as far mounting to the frame. When I got the wide side I got the wiring harness from the firewall to the tail lights also. The biggest difference is really between 2wd and 4wd frames. Both beds(step and wide) came off of 2wd trucks. Since the truck had a flatbed, the PO(not dean) cut the 6 brackets off that support the bed cross members, I got those off of a 2wd C10 (thanks Randy) 2 of those are different from a 2wd to 4wd, the ones that are almost flat and hang off the side of the frame.
The decision was hard, I did purchase parts for the stepside(strips/angles/bolts) and have patched a hole in one bedside, but when I went and looked at the bed for Richard Morgan and he passed on it and for the money and since it matched the cab all I had to do was tell my wife(she's not a stepside fan) and the deal was done. Took about 2 hours to unbolt/lift/install hooked up the wiring harness all but one light worked and away I went.
I do plan on finishing the stepside and maybe put on the GMC. I like white stepsides.
