wow! taking it down to the bones!
is that rear tail panel just bolted in? is it welded anywhere?

both of my subs need a little rust repair in that area, and if it just unbolts... that would make for some easy repair...

YOU ARE SO LUCKY YOU ASKED ME THAT !!

It does !!

But I found out the hard way !!

I had my buddy Joe start to drill out spots on the rear tail panel of Burb 1.

After about half way through, we realized ... IT JUST UNFOLDED !!

Ugh !!!!

Pics to follow ....

Keep rockin', John! It looks like a ton of work, but I know a guy like yourself can handle it. It'll be sweet when you're done. :metal:

Just out of curiosity, what are you using for a fuel gauge? I know the ohms are different between an old vehicle and a newer one.

Looking good John, Estate Wagons had 22 gallon tank, side fill, looks identical. I used the side fill from 93 Caprice on my panel, Don't know if you have a plan for how yours will fill. Keeping the side fill option? Your welding is Stout. Front and back are rock solid. Going to be a sweet ride.....Ed

Thanks man ...

I plan on piping the tank to the original side fill.

Man....Did I fall asleep at the wheel on this one !!!

I still have this thing .. currently in my container, as life took over.

When I do get back on it, I will be changing directions and going 4wd...so I will have a running LT1 chassis available to whoever is interested.

Thanks
