Re: My Facetruck thread.
I will too , I will get him drunk first though . I went to look at a Blazer for sale last week , I wanted it badly until I actually saw it .The for sale pics were when he bought it many years before he parked it under a tree with no top .

I met the guy at a shopping center. And when I saw it pull in, I thought no way. The guy was a real hot head too. Very hostile. He kept trying to tell me how nice the car was. and became even more irritated when I pointed out the cars many problems. (everything) I told my girlfriend to go back and wait in the truck. Because this guy looked like he was going to lose his lunch. When she was back in the truck. I told him that the car was a pile of sh*t and there was no way I would buy it. And he did just what I thought. He went nuts and called me every name in the book. I was waiting for him to take a swing at me. He was nuts. But he didn't he just got back in his crappy car screaming and yelling that I had wasted his time.Flipping me off. I drove over an hour to see that car. He drove 5 minutes. Who wasted who's time? The pictures and he,himself completely misrepresented the car. When I got back in my truck, my girlfriend asked me. "What in the hell is wrong with that guy? I just told her that he must have flunked out of charm school. |
Re: My Facetruck thread.
I was going to buy a Malibu a few years ago ,a 1980 model unmolested original one .I had the guy send me extra pics and he promised me it had Zero rust anywhere .He met me in Chattannoga ,about half way for both of us .I had cash in my pocket to buy it .I inspected it very closely as there is no aftermarket support for these cars .I found a rust spot under the rear windshield trim covered with silicone .I told him that he said it was 100 % rust free when it was not .He told me that little spot would be an easy fix .I said yes it may be but Im afraid of what I may find deeper down and told him the deal was off .He wanted me to pay his gas for coming that far and I said no that he misrepresented his car and left .He called me every name he could think of .

Re: My Facetruck thread.
^^^ uhm no, not even remotely funny.. remember the 9yo that killed her instructor with an uzi?
completely asinine of an experienced gun owner to put something like that in her hands [shotgun above] sxs 10ga both barrels, listen to the idiot laughing as she's knocked out on the ground.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cB_TXmWYY-k how humorous would it have been or if she would have caused permanent brain damage to herself? or permanent scar? I started shooting as a young child, though a 20 year .mil career, line coach, RSO/OIC, etc. and retired arms room supervisor.. now a private collector and recreational shooter of over 100 guns including a .50bmg.. nothing cool or funny about that, at all.. no mystery there's a large contingent of folks not experienced with firearms that have such a negative opinion of it with stupid videos like this all over the internet.. hard to tell what is dumber, setting it up or standing back to film it for youtube.. |

Re: My Facetruck thread.
I had grilled chicken salads the last two nights.
I broke ranks this morning, and ate at IHOP, so I ate a smoked ham on whole grain bread sandwich with raw veggies for lunch. I just finished a bag of microwave popcorn for dinner. I would hurt somebody for a meat lovers pizza and a beer right now. |

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Pizza was night before last. Can't swallow that without beer. I made up the next night with BBQ'd salmon, beans, and spinach. I like salad with strips of tasty grilled meat. One of my favorites is grilled blackened tuna with Italian dressing. Low carb, lots of flavor, lots of protein, and it all tastes great together.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
I'll be back to grilled chicken salad tonight.
