Worked in the shop for a few hours today. Finished up the wiper cowl. I really liked the way it came out.

lol, guess you've got the itch for another one? mine is just now making enough progress that I'm confident it'll be back on the road this year...it's been over 2 years since I drove her. But it's gonna be so much more fun when everything is done! If you're looking for a '60-66 project though, my dad might have something of interest for you.

She's a one owner 150k mile Burb. Great shape, every service record, oil change, everything that was ever done to it record. Plans are some GM 20's a slight lower and window tint. Thinking of these two wheels

The machine finished GMC 20s would look great on the new toy also...

But then I'm biased.

That's clean!! Wheels look great. Trying to figure out if I'm painting the front clip all white or an ss bumper cover painted white? Then mirrors, handles and I might just remove all the side door trim or paint it. Got a new kenwood HU and all new speakers installed this weekend. Wife walked out the house and saw the truck dash and doors gutted for the install and said great here we go again. Lol
This week rear sub upgrade along with an amp. This is fun.

My suggestion? Leave the door trim on and paint it white. It will save you from countless door dings.

Also on the new Burb I've been busy doing a lot of small stuff to her. Getting the windows tinted next week, and new headlights. Got the wheels on it last week. Then finally ill paint a few things white on the outside and I'm done.

Getting the firewall finished up while my engine is being built. Shaving it all off. Going with the Scotts under dash set up. It's a really nice unit.... It's going to be TIGHT, but it will fit. I'm thinking of making an access panel in the cowl where I have the red outline. This will give access to the master and also buy me about an inch more room under there.

Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!

Well today is the day I got out into the shop and started working. Worked on shaving the rest of the holes on my firewall. Have to figure out which route gas pedal I'm going to use. Talked to Hartrob who did the 72 pedal swap. Also spoke with buckss who did the lokar set up. Just have to pick one. I'm thinking of doing a textured firewall like some of the guys on here have done. We will see.

Rob he used the raptor liner kit I will be ordering it this week.

Buck I did thanks. I realized I have a pedal set up for a 90's truck. I think I might be missing a part or two. Should just order the lokar setup. It's nice.

Decided to get off my butt and stop watching other build their trucks. Welded up some more of the fire wall and started to do my most favorite thing in the world..... Body work. Amazing how much sand paper you go through so fast. Need to stock up.
