Yeah I'm going for it. I'll be out in the garage tomorrow sanding on the truck and get one more coat of primer on it. Then block it and spray the satin green. Then put it back together and finnish the bamboo slat bed floor. I'm trying to get a hold of a trailer, might just rent one from uhaul.

Well i got all the Patch panels done on the lower doors and fenders then finnished up the body work. Sprayed it in a poly prime, now i just need to block sand it and get it ready for the satin green. sucks being a one man show on this build...Need more time in the day.... I would like to get it done for the CPP cruise, we'll see.

i agree, looks great even if it's a one-man show...you're doing a nice job....and i agree about not having enough time in a day to get things done...i'll be glad when the time changes back

No bamboo yet, its in my shed covered up till im done painting then ill install it. should be cool looking.

Dino it would be cool to hang out and work on these trucks, im going to give it a shot to get it done in time for CPP and i know ill be ready for Brothers show and for sure Goodguys Westworld.... My wife wants to go back to AZ...

Whats you & Dels plans for cpp, I'll Pm you for some info.

I always thought green was the best color for patina :lol: nothing fades as well as green IMO.

Yeah man that truck is rad, its got one dent on the driver cab corner. but i think i can knock it out to look good enough. I have to get this one done first, and that truck isnt going anywhere till im ready...

Well ive been sanding like a mad man for two days, got my garage filthy. but im done and ready to start cleaning this palce up and start masking it off for paint....

Those chrome wheels with the white walls are really going to POP once you lay the green on the body.

Well i turned my garage into a make shift paint booth and sprayed out the green epoxy sealer custom green mix. Its not a perfect show paint job, just a clean garage street truck look. Maybe later on i might fauxtina it, not sure....More pics as i clean up and start putting it back together. I painted the grille satin white and have the bumpers getting satin white powder coated, shoud get them back tuesday...

Its a custom tinted PCL epoxy sealer, i would like to paint the truck base/clear one day.
