Re: Project Patina Burb
Nice! Had fun at the show. Wish it was two days so I could talk to more truck people. lol
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
Burb looked great. Really making me think about a wheel change.
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
Looks great! Did you get all of your engine/fuel problems worked out?
PS you need some rust on the wheels......;)........ |
Re: Project Patina Burb
No, haven't had a chance since the show to start working on the fuel system.
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
Started the tear down of the fuel system yesterday. I'm waiting on the UPS guy today to drop off my AN fittings so I can start putting them together.
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
Got a lot done today. I tightened one of the hose ends too tight and snapped it so I couldn't finish.

Which fuel pump you running? Sorry if I missed it
Wade |
Re: Project Patina Burb
EP381 is the AC DELCO number.
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
Running better?
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
Haven't gotten it out yet. Tying up a few things while it's up on jackstands.
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
Paint turned out great..

Re: Project Patina Burb
Thanks, it stays in the garage so I don't know how well it would hold up in the weather.
May find out soon. Going to roll Halen's frame in the garage soon so we can start working on it. |
Re: Project Patina Burb
Did I miss it, what tank is that your using?
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
It's from an 87 G20 van.
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
Any chance of letting me know the tire and wheel combo. I like the look/size/backspace of them. Please and thanks!
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
Come a long way since I last saw it. Those wheels are killer!
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
Thanks Chris, are you still in London?
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
I'm in the states for a month for some training, then back to the UK. Sure do miss my trucks... This thing looks great; great vision. Did the tank fit without trimming the 'rails? They are about an inch too wide for the pickups...
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
I had to trim a little off to get it to fit.
|
Re: Project Patina Burb
Picked up a rear A/C unit off of Facebook. Thanks to seeten for picking it up for me and storing it until I could get it from him. I also got an Old Air unit from thelonerife that I'll start on in the next few weeks.

Re: Project Patina Burb
Odd question, but I notice your booster vac hose.
I've hit a small snag with my 5.3 swap. My booster has the standard 3/8" barb fitting and the hose off the intake is 15/32" (like yours) What did you do on your booster end? I'm having a heck of a time finding a larger vacuum check valve for the 15/32" hose. |
Re: Project Patina Burb
I can take a pic of it for you if you like? Honestly, the local guy that did my wiring and flashed my computer installed it. I do recall him making a comment about the check valfe,:but that he'd bought a new one and that fixed the issue.

Re: Project Patina Burb
Bryan,
What size tires did you end up going with? Trying to figure out some sizes for my truck for the near future. Thanks. |
Re: Project Patina Burb
Jason,
245/40's in the front 275/40's in the rear |
